If there's one keyword to define the smartphone industry in 2025—aside from the indisputable AI—it would clearly be lightweight. Following the launch of ultra-slim models by leading manufacturers like Apple and Samsung, RedMagic, known for its focus on gaming phones, has officially announced the upcoming release of its thinnest full-screen flagship yet: the RedMagic 10 Air, scheduled to debut on April 16. As the reveal date approaches, the brand has been gradually releasing more product details during its teaser campaign.

RedMagic 10 Air

Lightweight doesn’t mean compromising on performance. According to the official hardware specs, the RedMagic 10 Air will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, combined with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It also features advanced cooling technology dubbed “Gaming Laptop-Level Cooling Tech” with Composite Liquid Metal 2.0, supports the CUBE performance AI scheduling engine, and “Stabilizing Frame” technology. Despite its ultra-thin 7.85mm body, it houses a 6000mAh large-capacity battery and supports 80W fast charging via RedMagic's Magic Flash Charge.

In terms of display and design, the RedMagic 10 Air features a notch-free, punch-hole-free under-display front camera on a full-view screen, combined with a flat-edged middle frame. The display, named “Wukong Full-Screen”, boasts a 93.7% screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience. Color variants include Shadow Black, Frost White, and Flame Orange. For photography, the device reportedly features a 16MP front camera and a dual 50MP rear camera setup.

As a gaming phone, the RedMagic 10 Air also retains capacitive shoulder triggers, and includes a red “Gaming Switch” on the left side of the device. It is optimized for popular games like Arena Breakout, supporting full-map ray tracing, and TFT (Teamfight Tactics), offering 120Hz ultra-quality gameplay. Full product specifications are yet to be officially confirmed, so interested users are encouraged to stay tuned for more updates from RedMagic.
