REDMAGIC will hold its 7th Anniversary Product Launch on April 16, officially unveiling its lightest and thinnest gaming flagship phone to date — the REDMAGIC 10 Air. With the slogan “Slim Yet Powerful, Air in Hand,” the device emphasizes high performance and a slim design, and marks the debut of REDMAGIC’s self-developed chip, “Red Core R3.”

The REDMAGIC 10 Air is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, paired with the in-house Red Core R3 chip to form a dual-chip collaborative system. This setup further optimizes gaming performance and power efficiency. The Red Core R3 focuses on enhancements in AI scheduling, frame rate stability, and thermal control, with the brand promising a game experience as smooth as "anchored frames." The device is available in configurations of 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage to meet the needs of hardcore gamers.

The phone features a 6.8-inch BOE true full screen with a resolution of 1116p. It uses next-gen under-display camera technology, achieving a clean display with no notches or punch holes. With a screen-to-body ratio of 93.7%, it incorporates the “FDC in-pixel physical PPI” technology developed jointly by REDMAGIC and BOE to ensure consistent display quality even in the camera area, delivering a seamless visual experience. The screen supports a high refresh rate (exact value undisclosed) and has ultra-narrow bezels, greatly enhancing immersion.

Despite being only 7.85mm thick, the REDMAGIC 10 Air packs a large 6000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging. The brand claims its battery life outperforms similar models by 20%, ensuring long gaming sessions. Compared to its predecessor, the REDMAGIC 9 Pro, the battery capacity is slightly reduced, but improved charging efficiency and energy optimization make up for it.

In terms of imaging, the REDMAGIC 10 Air is equipped with dual 50MP rear cameras (main + ultra-wide) and a 16MP under-display front camera, balancing gaming and daily photography needs. Its dimensions are 164.3 × 76.6 × 7.85mm and it weighs 205g. It comes in three color options: Shadow Black, Frost White, and Flame Orange. The Flame Orange model features a transparent glass back panel, subtly revealing the internal texture for a strong tech aesthetic.

To handle the thermal pressure of high performance, the REDMAGIC 10 Air employs the advanced “Liquid Metal 2.0” composite cooling system, dubbed by the brand as “laptop-grade gaming cooling tech.” It is paired with the CUBE performance AI scheduling engine to prevent performance throttling during extended play. On the software side, the phone runs the RedMagicOS, a deeply customized system based on Android, which enhances touch response and network stability in gaming scenarios.

Positioned in the mid-range gaming phone market, the REDMAGIC 10 Air targets Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 rivals from Xiaomi, Huawei, and others. Although its battery capacity and slimness aren’t unmatched compared to some competitors, REDMAGIC seeks to stand out with its self-developed chip, true full-screen display, and unique cooling solution. Additionally, the launch event will also introduce a new compact gaming tablet powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition, expanding the REDMAGIC ecosystem.
