RedMagic 11 Air Officially Announced: Active Cooling Gaming Flagship

The RedMagic 11 Air gaming smartphone has officially been announced. As a new-generation performance flagship, the RedMagic 11 Air will be unveiled at a new product launch event on January 20 at 15:00.

According to official information, the brand-new RedMagic 11 Air is equipped with the active cooling fan system FengDrive 4.0, making it the only AIR model in the industry with a built-in fan. It debuts an industry-first aerospace aluminum air-cooling bracket, featuring aerospace-grade aluminum material with high thermal conductivity and ultra-light weight. The design directly targets core heat sources, creating an efficient air-cooling heat dissipation pathway. It also introduces the industry’s first ultra-thick stepped VC, with a cooling design certified by a national invention patent. The thickened structure increases VC vapor chamber volume, improving heat-spreading capability by 47%. With a dual-sided raised stepped VC design and an ultra-high-density capillary structure, its thermal circulation efficiency is claimed to far exceed that of conventional VC solutions.

The all-new ICE Magic Cooling System includes the aerospace aluminum air-cooling bracket, FengDrive 4.0 active cooling fan, ultra-thick stepped VC, and under-display graphene copper foil. It is promoted as the “cooling ceiling in its class.” For reference, the previously released RedMagic 11 Pro series was also equipped with the FengDrive 4.0 active cooling fan. This fan features the fastest rotational speed in the industry and is RedMagic’s first IPX8 waterproof cooling fan, using nano-level airtight materials. The fan duct module is independently designed, enabling a composite cooling solution.

At the same time, the RedMagic 11 Air is equipped with the Wukong Display, a true hole-free full-screen design with ultra-narrow 1.25mm bezels, 1.5K resolution, and 144Hz under-display high refresh rate. The AMOLED full-screen display is certified for eye protection and has SGS low blue light certification.

The RedMagic 11 Air introduces RedMagic’s first full-series transparent design, paired with a curved glass back cover that enhances spatial transparency and significantly improves in-hand comfort. The exterior design has been officially revealed, showing a vertically aligned rear camera layout without a single large camera module, as each lens is individually placed. RGB lighting effects are also visible on the back. The rear panel features striped and dotted decorative patterns, along with a circular textured area beside the camera module. According to official statements, these design inspirations are derived from vinyl records and racing tracks.

Based on the official images, three color options have been announced: Star White, Quantum Black, and Aurora Silver. At present, RedMagic has already disclosed multiple upgrade details for this new gaming smartphone.

Overall, the RedMagic 11 Air will feature professional gaming shoulder triggers, a built-in PC emulator, the same flagship-grade CUBE Titan Gaming Engine, and the self-developed Red Core R4 esports chip. For reference, the previously released RedMagic 11 Pro series was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Extreme Edition combined with the Red Core R4, achieving an AnTuTu benchmark score of 4,358,152 and supporting over 200 mainstream games with concurrent super-resolution and high frame rate enhancement.

The CUBE Titan Gaming Engine 3.0 delivers efficient performance scheduling, frame rate enhancement, and optimized power consumption control. With Game Ready driver technology and independent high-speed Adreno graphics memory, it fully supports six major categories of mainstream mobile games at 144Hz and includes a built-in PC emulator.
