REDMAGIC 11 Pro Series Redefines Cooling and Esports Power
Today, in the entire mobile phone industry, REDMAGIC has undoubtedly long been one of the most unique brands. As one of the few brands in the industry that has focused on “hardcore gaming phones” from the very beginning, REDMAGIC’s gaming phones have been designed since the first generation to meet the “competitive needs” of professional esports players. In other words, it is not simply a product made for ordinary users to play games casually in daily life, but more like “professional equipment” designed for esports competitions to enhance competitive performance.
Because of this, in the product design of REDMAGIC gaming phones, one can always see many extraordinary “obsessions.” For example, the iconic built-in active air cooling, the under-display front camera which is perhaps the only one still being used in the industry, and the rare dual touch shoulder trigger design. However, it is precisely because REDMAGIC has been advancing hardware innovation in gaming phones almost entirely by itself, that these feature technologies naturally come with much higher R&D difficulty and higher costs compared to those “popular designs” pursued by the entire industry.
Even so, REDMAGIC has never given up on its persistence. Just recently, shortly after the National Day holiday, REDMAGIC held the “REDMAGIC Liquid Cooling and Gaming Technology Conference,” where it unveiled the new generation of hardware and software “black technologies” for its upcoming flagship gaming phone. In addition to faster and stronger air cooling, this time it also includes built-in liquid cooling. As the latest generation of REDMAGIC gaming phones, the soon-to-be-launched REDMAGIC 11 Pro series naturally continues to adopt the built-in active cooling design based on a miniaturized turbo fan. But compared to previous generations, the “active air cooling” in the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series has undergone significant changes.
First of all, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series uses the brand’s first-ever “IPX8 waterproof cooling fan,” making it one of the first REDMAGIC gaming phones in history to feature waterproof design along with a through-body air duct. On this basis, the fan still uses an alloy shell and LCP (liquid crystal polymer) fan blades, ensuring extremely high thermal stability and thermal expansion coefficient. This allows the gap between the fan blades and frame to be even closer, supporting an ultra-high rotation speed of 24,000 RPM while reducing air leakage to improve airflow efficiency.
Accompanying the new fan is REDMAGIC’s pioneering “4D Ice Step VC,” composite liquid metal thermal materials, and the brand’s signature waterfall air duct design. Compared with other built-in air-cooling solutions in the industry, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series features not only a large through-body air duct but also a dual-track heat conduction design that transfers heat from both sides of the SoC into the air duct for dissipation. Its cooling efficiency is more than twice that of active air-cooling systems with a fan but without a duct.
That’s not all — in the advanced version, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro+, the world’s first “Pulsating Liquid Cooling Engine” fully integrated into the phone body has been introduced, featuring an active internal liquid-cooling circulation design. Note that the “liquid cooling” of the REDMAGIC 11 Pro+ differs from other models that market passive vapor chamber evaporation/condensation as liquid cooling. It truly incorporates a micro-pump motor inside the chassis, which circulates coolant through internal water pipes. Moreover, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro+ uses professional fluorinated liquid as its cooling medium. This material is completely non-conductive — even if the water pipe ruptures, it won’t damage other components. Additionally, it remains in a liquid state between -60°C and 108°C, ensuring that even in freezing winter conditions, users don’t have to worry about coolant solidifying and damaging the water channels.
The Red Core R4 esports chip is not only capable of super-resolution and super-frame processing — beyond continuing to lead the gaming phone industry in cooling design, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series has also upgraded its self-developed Red Core R4 esports chip. Similar to other brands’ gaming chips, the R4 can perform super-resolution and super-frame processing for games. However, its functionality is much richer than competing products. For instance, the R4 can now work synergistically with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition’s “independent high-speed memory (HPM)” design, optimizing graphics rendering load in heavy gaming scenarios by calling this dedicated memory. This reduces system memory access, shortens data transmission paths, and lowers bandwidth pressure — improving frame rates while also reducing power consumption. Furthermore, the R4 handles touch optimization and lighting control tasks for the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series. Thanks to this independent touch enhancement chip, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series achieves MagicTouch 3.0, offering zero touch interruption, no false touches, and ultra-fast response.
Finally, in terms of specific gaming super-resolution and super-frame effects, the R4 helps the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series achieve 2K+144Hz super-resolution and super-frame concurrency. It can run multiple popular games at maximum graphics settings with ray tracing enabled while maintaining reduced power consumption, delivering an ultimate gaming experience. It can be said that REDMAGIC continues to represent the highest level of gaming phone design, cooling, and performance tuning technology, elevating its position to a transcendent level within the industry. Rather than just being a “gaming phone,” it has become the “official gear” for top-tier esports events and the preferred platform for testing high-definition graphics technologies in leading mobile games. At professional tournaments such as Dawn Heroes, Arena Breakout, QQ Speed Mobile S League, League of Legends: Wild Rift Super League, CrossFire Pro League, and Call of Duty Masters, REDMAGIC gaming phones have been the reliable companion of pro players. Therefore, as the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series approaches launch, it has already secured the privilege of being the debut platform for Delta Operation 144Hz+ Ultra-Clear Mode, Wuthering Waves 120fps Mode, Valorant Mobile 144Hz Adaptation, League of Legends: Wild Rift 144Hz Adaptation, and over 200 mainstream games with high-definition, high-frame-rate support.
Obviously, for players, this means they can experience unprecedented gaming smoothness and immersive visuals on the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series. From the perspective of game developers, the birth of the REDMAGIC 11 Pro series will undoubtedly reshape the new performance benchmark for “ultra-high graphics + ultra-high frame rate” mobile gaming.
