REDMAGIC has recently launched a brand-new generation of magnetic cooler—the REDMAGIC Cooler 8 Pro. While continuing the convenient magnetic design of the previous generation, it further strengthens the core cooling performance, striving to bring users a more extreme cooling experience.

The REDMAGIC Cooler 8 Pro features a built-in 1640mm2 ultra-large TEC cooling engine, integrating 124 pairs of PN junctions, achieving a 130% improvement in cooling performance. Paired with an aviation aluminum heatsink designed with a 3D through-type airflow structure, the heat conduction efficiency is further enhanced. Combined with a self-developed 11-blade high-pressure fan, it can achieve ultra-high air pressure at a speed of 6500 RPM, quickly dissipating heat.

In terms of body details, it adopts a top and bottom air outlet design, preventing hot air from blowing onto hands, providing a more refreshing and comfortable grip experience. In addition, it continues practical features such as magnetic buckle, magnetic sheet, RGB lighting ring, and APP intelligent temperature control adjustment, meeting users' diverse needs in gaming, live streaming, and other scenarios. Next, let’s take a detailed look at this newly upgraded REDMAGIC Cooler 8 Pro.

Disassembly Summary

REDMAGIC Cooler 8 Pro Teardown
Finally, the core component list of the REDMAGIC Magnetic Cooler 8 Pro is attached for reference.

The REDMAGIC Cooler 8 Pro adopts a new black Kevlar texture design, offering a stronger sense of technology and hardcore style. The core cooling system is equipped with a 1640mm2 ultra-large TEC cooling chip, improving cooling performance by 130%. Combined with an aviation aluminum heatsink and a self-developed 11-blade high-pressure fan, it achieves higher heat conduction efficiency and faster heat dissipation.

Compared with the 6 Pro, the 8 Pro removes the wireless charging module power interface, returning to a pure cooling positioning and focusing on providing stronger cooling performance for phones. However, it retains practical functions such as magnetic buckle, magnetic sheet, RGB lighting ring, and APP intelligent temperature control, allowing users to flexibly adjust lighting effects and cooling modes according to scenarios, meeting diverse needs such as gaming and live streaming.

Through disassembly, it is found that the product uses the Hynetek HUSB238 PD power chip, combined with a highly integrated Bluetooth SOC solution. The main control circuit uses the RYCHIP RY9120 buck solution to power the fan, while the cooling chip is powered by the Natlinear LN8364 half-bridge chip.

The internal structure of the product is compact. Thermal grease is applied on both the cooling chip and heatsink. The PCB board is coated with conformal coating and covered with Mylar sheets on both sides for protection, demonstrating meticulous workmanship.
