The first new tablet in April has been warmed up, the model is REDMAGIC Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, which has supported reservations and is expected to be released in mid-to-late April. The new tablet is positioned in the gaming tablet market, focusing on improving performance + cooling, bringing ultimate performance.

The official has warmed up multiple aspects, such as ultra-high refresh esports display, game engine, PC-level cooling, etc., moving toward the esports market in all aspects, bringing stronger gaming performance. It is reported that the new tablet has three chips, first is the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition, under the support of a new generation process technology and a brand-new architecture, the CPU main frequency reaches up to 4.6GHz, and the performance is greatly improved. The GPU is updated to a new generation, with stronger rendering capabilities. Under the combination of the two major cores, it can easily cope with heavy-load gaming scenarios.

At the same time, it is equipped with a self-developed esports chip "Red Core R4", further improving gaming performance, such as super resolution and super frame, touch optimization, lighting effect control, etc. There is also a touch chip, which improves sampling rate and response speed, achieving synchronization of touch and display, worthy of being the king of performance.

Considering the overall performance, the new tablet is equipped with a new generation CUBE Sky Game Engine, which goes deep into the bottom layer of the processor to schedule performance, making game frame rates lower, and power consumption lower, achieving high-quality image gaming.

In terms of heat dissipation, the official has stated "PC-level heat dissipation materials", and it is expected to integrate active cooling fans, VC architecture, liquid metal, liquid cooling heat conduction, etc., truly worthy of PC-level heat dissipation effect. For gaming devices, heat dissipation is indeed one of the cores, ensuring normal performance output and smooth game operation.

The screen is a 9± inch OLED high refresh esports display, with greatly improved color performance, especially in light and shadow and vividness. The refresh rate is upgraded to 200Hz ultra-high refresh, directly covering the high frame rates of major games. After all, very few games support ultra-high refresh above 165Hz, more commonly 120Hz, 144Hz, etc.

The highest refresh rate of smartphones is 185Hz, and it has not broken through to 200Hz or above. The appearance design is similar to the previous generation, with a classic full-screen design, further optimized bezels, narrower, and a higher screen-to-body ratio, bringing an ultimate visual experience.

The battery capacity is expected to be 9500mAh±, increased by 1300mAh year-on-year, and battery life is simultaneously improved. Fast charging is expected to be upgraded to the hundred-watt level, while the previous generation was 80W wired. The new tablet also supports bypass charging, which can reduce battery heating when charging while playing.
